Hark Vineyards is open! All operations are outdoors.

We are open 12pm-6pm on Friday/Sunday and 12pm-8pm Saturdays. We are happy to welcome guests to our vineyard as a place to safely enjoy a bit of normalcy during this difficult time. Follow us on social media or check our Events page for any special occurrences that may alter our normal hours.

Reservations are not required (unless you are arriving on a wine tour). Well-spaced shaded seating is available on our grounds on a first-come basis, or you are welcome to bring your own chairs, blankets, and pop-up tents. In addition to wine, we have a limited selection of pre-packaged foods and snacks available for purchase. Guests are always welcome to bring their own picnics. Groups are welcome, but we request that parties arriving by bus or wine tour make a reservation in advance. Reservations may be requested through our contact page.

Masks are required to be worn any time you are away from your personal picnic area. Our staff is sanitizing restrooms, seating areas, and all surfaces continually throughout the day. If you have felt ill in the last 14 days or been around someone else who has, please do not come to the property. For the safety of our staff and all other guests, those who intrude on the space of other patrons or who cannot abide by our mask guidelines will be asked to leave. Click here to view the Hark Vineyards COVID Handout.

Parties are limited to no more than 25 people (including children) by Executive Order of the Governor.

Only cashless payments are accepted.

From the day we first planted our vines, we’ve put the wine first. You are the beneficiary of that, with a tasting room that is immediately adjacent to our winery facility. As you taste, you’ll enjoy a behind-the-scenes view into the winemaking process. Step outside the building up onto our patio, and lose yourself in a landscape where vines meet the Blue Ridge.  Our grapes love it here. We think you will, too.

Hark offers two tasting menus: the House ($10) and the Reserve ($15). Each features five wines, and provides experience with both the Hark and Jake Busching Wines brands.  Our wines are also available by the bottle or glass.

We welcome — and encourage — you to bring a picnic and enjoy the experience our estate offers.  Some picnic foods such as cheese, charcuterie, jams, crackers, and chocolate are available for purchase in our tasting room.

We are a family-friendly property.

Well-behaved dogs on a leash are allowed outside, but not in the tasting room.

Groups are welcome, but we request that parties arriving by bus or wine tour make a reservation in advance. Reservations may be requested through our contact page.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.  Additionally, Virginia ABC laws prohibit the consumption of any outside alcohol while on our premises.
